Where dynamic, sustainable bamboo surfaces meet the craftsmanship of textiles and fashion design, shaping spaces with artful precision and fluid sophistication.

Inspired by the depth and movement of hand-loomed fabric. Made entirely of carved Plyboo bamboo panels, the vertically fluted face layer reveals a uniquely graphic inner core.

Inspired by biophilic patterns and hand chiseled bas relief sculpture, Basso is made from Plyboo’s Realcore 100% bamboo panels. The design is organic yet not without structure. It bridges a connection between nature and interior architecture utilizing a material that is uncompromisingly sustainable.

Inspired by the geometry of classical arches with a timely twist on scale and materiality, the ARC series utilizes curved profiles to create 7 bold new Plyboo patterns. Familiar silhouettes in round, flat and inflexed shapes elongate and repeat creating linear patterns that carry light and capture shadows along their path.

The Cosmopolitan™ Collection by Plyboo is representational of the complex geometry of cities and urban life. The collection uses 19 compositional squares to express the degree of an angle in line weight. By mixing variable primary lines with angles, modern, compelling, linear, and hidden geometries are spontaneously revealed.

Gravity™ is Plyboo’s newest collection of three-dimensional panels. With a nod to the Art Deco principles of luxury and progress, the unique Gravity™ pattern creates bold curving forms and complex helix spirals that work to transcend space and time. Inspired by the emerging Space Industry, this collection offers design forward concepts in a range that is both complex and conforming. Developed from the designer’s innate desire to extract the most unique forms from our bamboo plywood.

With a nod to the classically modernistic and beloved architectural element, Plyboo Louver is a series of carved panels and assembled slats that use angular positions and perforation patterns to define space, direct light and absorbs sound.

Fractal® by Smith&Fong applies the use of compositional geometric figures, each part of which has the same proportional character as the whole. The visual complexity of the Fractal® compositions causes the eye to find forms beyond the geometry evoking ideas, events and emotions.

Exciting and interpretive this expressive panel series uses the discipline of isosceles triangles to create squares and nested geometric shapes that express infinite space by emphasizing line, color and light.

Engineered to allow an otherwise rigid material to flex effortlessly into a 24" (610mm) radius, Smith and Fong has explored a broad range of scale and depth geometries ultimately leading to a collection of over seven "Uniquely Bendy" designs.

When carved, an interplay between the face layer and revealed inner core creates a stunning visual effect. Smith & Fong's proprietary RealCore™ technology insures the revealed cores are consistent and that layers of bamboo material in bi-directional construction enable stability.
